The aim of this site is to bring drummers, quality drum kits at affordable prices. As mentioned in our buying advice, most beginner drum kits will break over time. We try and bring the best quality we can for the price.
This site is being developed from experience as everyone who has worked on it has played the drums, and are of a wide age range and diverse musical backgrounds. We have used starter drum kits right up to top quality drum kits. This means the information on this website comes from reliable sources. So because we know a quality drum set for the price when we see one, we have set this site up to provide you with products ideal for those who are just starting playing drums.
Our shop itself is based in Peterborough and has been trading for over 10 years now. However in order to keep our prices as low as possible, we persuade customers to buy over this website rather than taking calls etc. This would inflate the prices of our products. You can, however, provide us with any queries you may have by emailing dave@madaboutdrums.co.uk.
Our priority is to provide our customers with drum kits which will not cost the earth, but will be of good quality for beginner drummers. For this reason, we do not sell the cheapest drum kits available, as we want our customers to be satisfied, and not to have to complain that the drum kit they have bought has broken within a week of buying it.
